We meet on Monday evenings during school term times:
7:30-9:30pm. At St Margaret’s Parish Centre, Church Lane, Horsforth, LS18 5LA.
The choir restarts for the Autumn term on Monday 7th September. 2026. We welcome novice and experienced singers and there is no audition to join the choir.
Reading music is helpful but not essential. Most people find they learn what they need to take part as they go along. And you will get help from other members. There are lots of online resources which can help with the basics of reading a printed music score, such as this guide produced by Making Music.
Subs for 2026/2027 are £180.00 payable in September. If preferred, this can be paid in three equal instalments of £60.00 at the start of each term. Or members can set up a Standing Order and pay £18.00 per month for ten months from September-June. New members who join later in the year are asked to pay a pro-rata amount.
Most members take part in all four concerts each year. The yearly subs reflect this and are payable by all members. However we are aware there are times when members cannot join us for a term and we are flexible with this.
Anyone who wants to sing with us, but cannot manage this amount, is still very welcome and is invited to let us know in confidence by emailing the Chair
Come and try us out! We will only ask you to join as a member after you’ve attended two or three sessions.
